Etabox is connected to the Webasto heater's control inputs or start wire. When a command is sent from the app to Etabox, it sends the start signal to the Webasto.
Some Webasto models can be started directly from the Etabox output with a small wake-up current. Some models require a W-Bus control bus.

Etabox can be programmed with schedules that automatically start the Webasto at your desired time – without you needing to remember to start it manually.
For example, you can schedule heating to start every weekday at 6:30 AM so the motorhome or boat is warm for the start of the work shift or morning departure.
Schedules can be set to repeat daily, by day of week, or as one-time events.
Etabox includes two temperature sensors. These can be used to monitor temperature in real-time in the app and set a thermostat function.
With the thermostat function, the Webasto can be started automatically when the temperature drops below your set limit – and turned off when it rises high enough again.
This is a practical feature for long-term monitoring of a cabin or motorhome, for example.

Some Webasto models have a W-Bus interface that enables more versatile control. The Etabox W-Bus model supports this interface.
