Etabox is a versatile remote control device that allows you to control relays, heating, Webasto, lights, pumps and other 12V or 24V devices remotely from your phone. Etabox operates with a PWA application running in a browser, which can also be installed on your phone like a regular application.
Built-in modem – no separate router or internet connection required.
Works with 7–34V supply voltage, suitable for most systems.
OUT1–3 voltage control + OUT4 potential-free solid-state relay.
Two built-in temperature sensors with 1.5m cables.
Schedule and automate device operation by time of day.
Alerts for temperature, voltage and input states.
A GSM relay refers to a device that can control electrical devices remotely via a phone. Etabox operates as a modern IoT-based remote control relay that connects to the internet via an internal IoT modem.
From the application, you can control the device outputs, monitor temperatures, operating voltage and input states, and receive alerts directly to your phone.
Etabox works in both 12V and 24V systems. The operating voltage range is 7V – 34V.
OUT1, OUT2 and OUT3 outputs provide the same operating voltage as Etabox is powered with. For example, in a 12V system, the outputs provide 12V and in a 24V system 24V when controlled.
Each output can handle a maximum load of 1A. For larger loads, a standard 12V or 24V relay can be used.
OUT4 functions as an internal PhotoMos solid-state relay that connects pins 19 and 20 together. The output is potential-free and is suitable for example for remote use of buttons, start contacts and control inputs.
OUT4 allows, for example, connection in parallel with a device's ON/OFF button, so Etabox can simulate a button press remotely.
Etabox is excellent for remote control of Webasto, Eberspächer and other heaters. Some heaters can be started directly from Etabox output with a small wake-up current without a separate relay.
In models that support W-Bus and LIN bus, LIN-based controls can also be used.
All outputs support continuous control, scheduling and pulse feature.
With the pulse feature, the output can be activated for a short period, for example 1–9999 milliseconds. This can be used for example:
Etabox includes two temperature sensors that can be used to monitor, for example, the temperature of a cottage, car, boat or technical room.
Alerts can be created based on temperature, operating voltage or input status. The user can determine:
For example: "Frost warning!" when the temperature drops below 2°C or "Low battery" when the battery voltage drops too low.
With IN1 and IN2 inputs, the status of external devices can be monitored or voltage can be measured.
Inputs can be used for example as feedback, so the application can see if the device being controlled is actually running.
The voltage display can also be scaled as a percentage. For example: 0V = 0%, 10V = 100%.
