Etabox does not require a separate WiFi connection or fixed internet. The device uses an internal IoT modem and operates with a SIM card.
This makes Etabox an excellent solution for cottages that don't have a fixed internet connection.
Etabox also works in solar power systems, as the operating voltage is 7V – 34V. The device can be connected directly to, for example, a 12V or 24V battery.
Many cottages use solar panels and batteries without regular 230V mains electricity. Etabox is well suited for such systems because it operates at low voltage and does not require a separate WiFi router.
The application can also monitor the operating voltage, so users can easily see the battery status remotely.
For example, when the battery voltage drops too low, an automatic notification can be sent to the phone.
Etabox can control various heating systems either directly or via a relay.
OUT1, OUT2 and OUT3 outputs provide the same operating voltage as Etabox is powered with. Outputs can be used, for example, for relay control or low-current heating device start-up.
When controlling larger loads, Etabox controls a standard 12V or 24V relay, which in turn switches on the actual load.
